Non-Psychoactive CBD (Cannabidiol) for PTSD, Anxiety, and Fear

CBD

One of the most exciting opportunities for CBD revolves around its application for anxiety, fear, stress, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Over 3 million Americans suffer symptoms of anxiety.  And PTSD can affect many people who have experienced traumatic life events – sadly, many of our nation’s veterans are very affected.  An estimated 7.8% of Americans will experience PTSD – with a larger percentage of veterans having the chance of being affected by this disorder.

Non-psychoactive Cannabidiol, or CBD, has evidence of helping the brain to deal with stress, anxiety, depression, and fear.  For people and veterans who suffer from PTSD, using CBD may be a healthy alternative to prescription drugs that can cause other negative side-effects.

From a journal article in Frontiers in Pharmacology:

“Cannabidiol (CBD) has been established to have both acute and long-lasting effects to reduce fear memory expression…Cannabidiol (CBD) is the major non-psychotropic constituent of the Cannabis plant and has anxiolytic therapeutic potential….CBD can also result in long-lasting fear reduction, when combined with either extinction training or brief memory reactivation/destabilization to impair reconsolidation”.

Individuals and veterans looking to try natural non-prescription treatments should be encouraged to see a multitude of research studies as well as individual cases of people seeing relief from these symptoms of PTSD using CBD.

When seeking out a CBD product, be sure and ask these four important questions.  At That’s Natural, we are Pure, Potent, and Trusted – here’s why!
