What Does Medicine Freedom Mean?

Medicine Freedom with That's Natural 1

You can listen to the podcast by clicking here.

Tisha Casida, founder of That’s Natural and host of www.Rebellion.Life, speaks about what Medicine Freedom means, and how we must take responsibility for our actions when it comes to our Food and Medicine.  Having the freedom and ability to choose, means taking responsibility and asking questions about what we are consuming.  Tisha gives questions to ask about CBD products that you may be researching.  CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol – one of over 85 cannabinoids found in the hemp, or cannabis, plant.  You can learn more about That’s Natural at www.ThatsNatural.info and see research and questions about CBD at Tisha’s company site: www.cbdoil.life.

CBD OIL BANNED FROM AMAZON – Get Yours NOW while you CAN!

Protect Your Medicine Freedom - Buy While You Can

Amazon has made the decision to no longer allow merchants to sell their CBD hemp oil via their market platform.  In addition to this, Google AdWords has recently banned certain CBD oils from being able to advertise (namely those who disclose what is in their CBD oil on their website).

In our conversations with customer service, they are not able to give us a direct reason why, so we can only assume that big-pharma and big-government (that has its big hands on the throats of both of these online platforms) is cracking down.  They want to stop consumers from being able to choose for themselves what they use as medicine.

At this time, they cannot stop us from independently selling this product online via our website and they cannot stop us from bringing this product to retailers and your doorstep.  And we will.  We will not stop and we will not be stopped by big-pharma and big-government that is afraid of the profits they will be missing as more and more people make individual choices about how to treat their pain and disease – outside of the pharmaceutical industry.

You are in control of your health and medicine choices.  If you want a third-party verified, transparently-produced CBD Hemp Oil from Colorado-grown hemp – this is your chance to purchase it and tell your friends at www.cbdoil.life.  At That’s Natural! we will fight back to protect your right to medicine freedom – please support us by sharing this with your friends and family.

PS: As of this writing not ALL of the products have come down off of Amazon because they have figured out “work arounds” to keep up (according to customer service at Amazon).  We can only wonder if part of these other CBD oil’s strategy is to not disclose where their hemp is coming from, as we make it clear that our product is U.S.-grown in Colorado.

Movie – What If Cannabinoids in Cannabis Cured Cancer & Other Diseases?

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpVNtCyj2TY?rel=0]

That’s Natural! stands behind and applauds research and smart drug policy that allows for the use and research of cannabis.  This video has many excerpts, diagrams, and summarizing information on cannabis, the 421 related compounds found in the cannabis plant, Cannabidiol or CBD and the non-psycoactive effects that may help with inflammation, anxiety, and more, as well as the Endocannabinoid System and how this system responds to cannabinoids.

1 in 5 People, Drugging Themselves to Relax

We love drugs.  I mean, coffee and alcohol are drugs too, and Americans, God love us, have a special affection for drugs.  And, at REBELLION.life, we have a special affection for protecting your right to use them.

A Gallup survey has recently shown that approximately 20% of Americans admit to using drugs to relax.  Self-medicating is nothing new to society, however, the range and the types of drugs available to alter one’s mood are increasing.  We think there are more healthful approaches (e.g. exercise, outdoor-time, etc.), but the fact is, a lot of people take some type of medication to relax.  And that’s… well, scary.

Mind-altering drugs that are synthetic have a host of potential side-effects, some of which can be horrific for society.  Addiction to these synthetic drugs is damaging and deadly.

In Colorado, voters went so far as to approve having marijuana (much, much safer) as a drug choice.  And here at REBELLION.life, as people who whole-heartedly support hemp, cannabis, and the non-psychoactive parts of hemp (Cannabidiol or CBD) – we hope that more people start investigating alternatives to the synthetic drugs that exist.

There won’t be a movement any time soon to figure out non-drug ways to relax.  However, we feel there is a lot of promise and opportunity to educate and inform people about natural alternatives to synthetic mind-altering drugs.  The use of marijuana exists for people who love THC and the psychoactive ‘high’.  And for the rest of us, who don’t necessarily want the high, but want to experience the health benefits of CBD – there is hemp – which is legal to consume in all 50 States and now legal to grow in 19.

Exercise your sovereignty and your right to relax.  And if you so desire, check out alternatives to synthetically-derived drugs that could wreak havoc on your system, and consider a natural solution, instead!

Hemp, Cannabis, and the Natural Medicine Revolution

Hemp has been grown in the United States since the 1600’s – the seeds for hemp came over with the Puritans on the ships that sailed from England.  Much of what was grown was actually meant for British consumption, and ironically, the first drafts of the Declaration of Independence were created using hemp paper.

“Hemp”, which is a term for many varieties of the Cannabis plant, has been used for its fiber, for its oil, and its seed.

The (strain) of cannabis that contains the psychoactive compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is “Cannabis sativa” and usually referred to as marijuana.  This is not the (strain) of cannabis that is used for hemp and its associated products.  Hemp grows much taller than marijuana plants and hemp  does not contain the psychoactive compounds.

Thomas Jefferson and George Washington are two very famous founders of our country who grew hemp on their farms.

Like many laws that are introduced by politicians to benefit (or harm) certain industries and companies that have contributed (or not contributed) to their election and position – the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937, that created numerous difficulties for all of cannabis production, may have been one of those political documents.  Hemp, which at the time was an inexpensive substitute for paper pulp and also for fiber, may have competed with the DuPont family’s new synthetic fiber “nylon”.  The Secretary of the Treasury at the time, Andrew Mellon, had invested extensively in DuPont’s nylon business.  Perhaps the passage of this Act was an attempt to stymie the production of cannabis and related hemp products.  In addition to the growing distaste of the federal government’s tolerance for marijuana use (even though the American Medical Association at the time condoned medical marijuana prescriptions and use), this act and others succeeded in stomping out the industry.

That is, until now.  Thanks to common sense reemerging for agriculture policy – growing hemp is now “legal” in nineteen States.  A provision in the 2014 Farm Bill made growing hemp possible with certain stipulations being followed, and the consumption of hemp products (which are not marijuana or psychoactive products) is legal in all 50 States.

Laws that stomp out people, companies and industries because of vested interests are nothing new (see Monsanto and the “Monsanto Protection Act”).  Laws are often created and used to help or hurt companies, create or disseminate industries.  When it comes to our land, to what we eat, and the medicines that we take – it is always best to have decentralized policies that allow for consumers to choose what is best for them.

Colorado is one of those States that has nullified federal law (with Amendment 64) and is leading the country in the production of cannabis.  Both hemp and cannabis sativa (and the many different (strains) of this plant) are being produced and refined into products that can have benefits for people.  That’s Natural! is excited to be a part of this with our very own all-natural, solvent-free, Colorado-grown hemp oil.

Cannabis and the Natural Medicine Revolution

Warning: We are not licensed doctors and we are not approved by any government agency to be able to tell you that anything treats or cures anything.  This is merely an opinion, and we encourage you to break through the big-government and big-pharma matrix to do your own research and learn about positive ways to protect your health.

*************

Many of our medicines are based on plant compounds, including aspirin (from willow), menthol (from mint), and quinine (from the Cinchona tree).  Plants, and medicines made from them, have been an integral part of native and indigenous cultures for thousands of years.  Synthesizing part of the plant to treat sickness and disease, is nothing new to society.

Cannabis, an annual, flowering herb, has several compounds that could be very beneficial to medicine and the treatment of various diseases. The cannabis plant has been used medicinally for over three thousand years.  In Colorado, where medicinal and recreational use of marijuana is now “legal”, we can use this openness and opportunity to explore more about this particular plant’s medicinal effects.

Cannabis plants can be processed into oils and other compounds – which can then be used without having to smoke and inhale smoke to be able to ingest the beneficial parts of the cannabis plant.

“Glandular trichomes” on the plant contain cannabinoids (CBD) that are non-psychoactive. Cannabinoids have the potential to act as an anti-inflammatory agent in the body and are also potentially anti-psychotic.  Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the component that can make people feel “high” and CBD are being researched in different ratios for treatment of various ailments.

Cannabis has been used to treat nausea, epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer, and is being researched to treat other illnesses – both physical and mental.  It is completely natural, with no known side-effects, and no reported overdoses or deaths from the medicinal use of this plant.  This is something to consider, and remember… why on earth would our government make it illegal to use this plant for the treatment of sickness and disease?

What is interesting about the cannabinoids in cannabis, is that human beings are actually pre-wired through our Endocannabinoid System to use compounds in cannabis to heal.  What is truly exciting about using cannabis to treat cancer, is that it appears that these treatments target only the cancerous and sick cells, and have no negative effects on healthy cells.  So, unlike traditional Western treatments for cancer (chemotherapy and radiation) – that kill almost everything and make the patient feel very sick, perhaps treatment(s) with cannabis could prove to target only the cancer.

In our THC Feed, we will continue to explore the research and success stories of using this plant to treat sickness and disease. We will also work with local and State officials to make sure we protect our Medicine Freedom – our natural right to use natural medicines.
