If there has ever been a time to question the motive or competence of our bureaucratic ‘leaders’ – now is the time.
In an interview with ABC News, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the “best” way to protect oneself is to cover your eyes in addition to nose and mouth.
From the New York Post: “When asked if eye protection will become a formal recommendation at some point, he said, “It might, if you really want perfect protection of the mucosal surfaces.””
PERFECT PROTECTION? HELL YEAH OF COURSE THAT IS WHAT I WANT! Because we all know we can protect ourselves COMPLETELY from exposure to this virus… right?
If face masks are that effective, remembering that the initial recommendation from Dr. Fauci and the Surgeon General were to NOT wear face masks, why didn’t anyone mention your eyeballs being ‘mucosal surfaces’ that are just as likely to contract disease?
This is really serious – this means that for over 100 days now Americans have been wandering around EXPOSED without “PERFECT PROTECTION”. Shouldn’t someone be called out for this?
Now, personally, I think most all of us have likely already been exposed to this virus, and it won’t make one bit of difference, but for the fear-mongers, this is real reason for outrage. And NOW for the goggle palooza.. soon goggles with your company’s name imprinted on them! While we are at it, let’s make sure they have blinders to stop you from looking around and that the masks/muzzles have a device to stop you from talking, oh wait, they already do!
Day 140 – NOW We Are Told To Wear Goggles to Best Protect Ourselves From COVID?!?!?! July 30th, 2020Rebellion!
Day 122 into the Coronavirus Pandemic… and I have some questions.
Being in the tri-county area of Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield – we are under mandatory mask ‘orders’ (not law – simply ordinances – although you would be hard-pressed to find people that know the difference) – and continually told how important it is to wear them. You are certainly shamed if you don’t.
Infection and Death Rates for these counties as of today are as follows:
Pitkin County: 130 Cases/2 Deaths (1 in 137 people for Cases)
Eagle County: 761 Cases/ 8 Deaths (1 in 72 people for Cases)
Garfield County: 403 Cases/ 3 Deaths (1 in 149 for Cases)
In these counties, we are following the path of those who believe that wearing masks ‘saves lives’. I certainly wear one when in public spaces where I can’t stand 6 feet away from people – I do this to make OTHER people feel ‘safe’. I certainly don’t feel any safer or better most of the time, because I hate breathing my own recycled and dirty air.
But there is an oddity in Mesa County, where I believe there are NO KNOWN mask ordinances, and where you can still move about and purchase groceries without masks… in Mesa County there are:
140 Cases and 0 Deaths – that is 1 in 1,102 for Cases
That is significantly less people with the virus. Why is this?
Is there really evidence that the mask-wearing will stop or even slow the spread of this thing? I get the concept, and am happy to “do my part” – but why is it that the County where there aren’t these draconian mandates and mask-police actually have less cases and deaths?
Maybe we should ask some questions about what we should do if we REALLY CARE about ‘saving lives’ of our fellow human beings? Since the virus and all viruses and all bacteria will be around on Earth forever. Maybe there are some other ways we can help and support each other without screaming at each other for wearing this piece of cloth over one’s face?
From Dr. Kelly Brogan, “That’s also why those who are shaming maskless civilians don’t exactly appear to be concerned for the well-being of those they are shaming, nor even concerned for their own health necessarily, but rather, are pouring from quite empty cups to garner a little hit of power. “
So, here’s a thought… what if wearing masks actually makes healthy people sick? What if this is a power-grab? What if this is dehumanizing us? What if this is all fear-driven?
“Mandatory Masks Can Cause Considerable Harm and Are Not Proven Effective“
“Evidence that face masks reduce the transmission of viral respiratory infections within community settings is equivocal at best. A recent meta-analysis of scientific literature, including 11 randomized, controlled trials and 10 observational studies, found that there was no clear clinical or laboratory-confirmed evidence that masks prevent infection. To the contrary, the study warned that facemasks “…may even increase transmission if they act as fomites [objects or materials that are likely to carry infection] or prompt other behaviours that transmit the virus such as face touching.”
This echoes World Health Organization (WHO) guidance published on January 29, 2020 entitled, “Advice on the use of masks in the community, during home care and in healthcare settings in the context of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.” In it, the WHO says, “Wearing medical masks when not indicated may cause unnecessary cost, procurement burden and create a false sense of security that can lead to neglecting other essential measures such as hand hygiene practices.” Furthermore, the January 2020 WHO guidance stated that “Cloth (e.g., cotton or gauze) masks are not recommended under any circumstance.”
Cloth masks have been found to be particularly problematic. A British Medical Journal (BMJ) study published in April 2020 cautions against the use of cloth masks, citing “Moisture retention, reuse of cloth masks and poor filtration may result in increased risk of infection.” The WHO affirms increased infection risk with cloth masks in its latest June 5, 2020 guidance. It based its guidance on an earlier BMJ study that found the penetration of particles to be 97% in the cloth mask group, with significantly higher rates of infection and influenza-like illness.
A study on the CDC website that reviewed 10 different randomized clinical trials worldwide on highly infectious respiratory virus transmission found “no significant reduction” in “transmission with the use of face masks.”
Given the lack of evidence for their use, and flip-flopping advice both against and for their use by authoritative health agencies like the WHO, the increasing pressure to wear masks in public — and the decreased ability to access basic services required to maintain one’s health, liberty and livelihood — constitutes an unnecessary power grab and means of controlling the population.”
Evidence. Science. Discussion. Can we work on having any of these things please? This is our last chance to save any liberty we have, this is our last chance to truly be human, this is our last chance to TRULY STAND UP FOR EACH OTHER. Not by being aggressive and pointing fingers for mask-wearing, we need to stand up for each other’s right to HEALTH, which starts with peace of mind, love, and access to natural foods and wellness products that BUILD OUR INNATE IMMUNE SYSTEMS.
No Mask Enforcement – No Deaths… A Case for Liberty? July 12th, 2020Rebellion!
Proclaim your Independence by hovering inside with your mask on, while on your knees apologizing for crimes you have not committed!
Received this alert this morning that cases are “on the rise” in Pitkin County (ooohhhh scary!!!!) so what does this mean?
A week ago on June 26th, Pitkin County had 91 cases and 2 deaths (this has been since March – this is 114 days in, the TOTAL) and on July 4th that is now… 104 cases and 2 deaths. HOLY $H!TBALLS – that is an increase of 13 people! STAY INSIDE!
Aspen has a “local” population of about 7,300 – so if you count that.. that is approximately .014 of the population that is infected and if you count deaths, that is .00027 of the population (more people I think have died on Highway 82 recently). If you count visitors, which is AT LEAST double the population – so a total of 14,600… then our stats are .00071 people INFECTED BY THIS UNRELENTING HORRID HORRID VIRUS and .00013 people DEAD (one of the two people who have died ‘from’ Coronavirus was 93 years old).
We will continue to monitor this breaking situation!!!!!
